2026年纽约游戏大奖的提名名单已经公布，《幽灵羊蹄》（Ghost of Yōtei）在四个类别中获得提名。
Sucker Punch Productions的这款作品被提名为年度最佳游戏、最佳剧本和最佳音乐。Erika Ishii因在游戏中饰演Atsu一角获得最佳表演提名。
Sandfall Interactive的《Clair Obscur》、Julián Cordero和Sebastian Valbuena的《Despelote》以及Supergiant Games的《Hades 2》均获得三项提名，均入围年度最佳游戏类别。
Dogubomb的《Blue Prince》和Team Cherry的《Hollow Knight: Silksong》获得两个类别提名，包括最佳独立游戏。
任天堂以五项提名成为提名最多的发行商，涵盖《Mario Kart World》、《Donkey Kong Bananza》、《Pokemon Legends: Z-A》、《Metroid Prime 4: Beyond》和《Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Star-Crossed World》四个类别。
2026年颁奖典礼还新增了“最佳纽约游戏”类别，专门表彰由纽约本地工作室开发的游戏作品。
纽约电子游戏评论圈创始人兼主席Harold Goldberg表示：“今年有许多精彩的游戏，我们觉得有必要设立Excelsior奖，以特别关注来自纽约的游戏作品。”
“今年的奖项共涵盖了全球66款最佳游戏作品。”
第15届纽约游戏大奖将于2026年1月18日在曼哈顿的SVA剧院举行。
